Small is Beautiful – An “Emporium of wonderful things” comes to Nottingham

My sources tell me that  a new concept store  will soon be opening in Nottingham’s Historical Georgian District  of Castle Gate.

I have been reliably informed that  An “Emporium of wonderful things” and ”exciting happenings” the likes of which  you’ve never experienced, will be coming to a beautiful  hidden Grade 2 Star, Listed Georgian Mansion which has been lost in a time warp, but is less than 60 meters or so from M&S flagship store on Lister Gate in Nottingham City Centre. Sir Paul Smith, A known lover of Architecture, Nottingham and Fashion recently converted a similar building  just up the hill and  following the success of the store, Sir Paul and the rest of us will have the opportunity to see inside Stanford House  fo the first time. We have been given e a sneak preview of one of the “undiscovered” rooms in this wonderful house. The vintage wallpaper in the room  is believed to have ben un touched for 80 yrs or so.

This room is one of the former servants  bedrooms; you can imagine what the rest of the house is like…. No details  of the exciting offerings have been revealed as yet but if you’d like to know more  click here or visit  www.stanfordhousenottingham.com
